One thing visitors should not miss
Notting Hill has been a trendy area for quite some time now, although it really appeared on the Radar for international visitors after the release of the eponymous 1999 movie starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. Much of the movie was filmed in and around the neighborhood, and a number of the locations are recognizable around the Portobello Road market (the blue door on Westbourne Park Road and the bookshop on Elgin Crescent to name a few.
