Bullingham Mansions
Kensington, London
This is a 2nd-floor flat in a very nice brick-fronted apartment building. It's on a quiet street that is just around the corner from many high street shops, pubs and restaurants.
You enter a security gate and then walk through a small garden to the front door. Two flights of stairs take you to the lovely apartment. The large sitting room has comfortable furniture in traditional English style, a decorative fireplace, nice art, some antiques, a TV, DVD player and tall windows that make this room beautifully bright. The separate dining room has an antique table that seats 8 comfortably. In this pleasant room, there are red wainscoting and large windows.
The all-white modern kitchen has a dishwasher, stove top, oven, a microwave, a washer/dryer, refrigerator/freezer, tiled backsplash, a window over the sink. It is bright and cheery.
The bedrooms are down the long hallway. The master bedroom has twin beds (the photo shows them pushed together) with chintz-covered headboards and a beautiful coverlet, a chest of drawers, a large closet and an easy chair. The three windows in the bay area let in plenty of light. The suite bathroom has a long, deep tub and shower over tub.
The second bedroom has a queen bed with an Ikat print headboard, excellent storage, an easy chair and a large window. The adjacent bathroom has a tub with a hand-held shower.
The price includes gas and electricity, use of all machines in the property, TV, DVD, fresh linen weekly, cleaning on your departure and a Greeter who will meet you at the property on arrival, and will see you out on departure. A security deposit of £300 to £1000 is held by credit card until after departure.
