Basil Street Apartments

Knightsbridge, London

spacer line This is a newer brick building, on a quiet side street, in the center of Knightsbridge. It is located across a small street from the famous Harrods Department Store; it is literally in Harrods’ shadow.

It is also near pretty Beauchamp Place, and Wilton Street, which have a quiet village atmosphere and boast some of London’s finest restaurants, pubs, and small shops. Recently redecorated, the decor of all the flats is crisp and clean. There are rich colors, and lovely fabrics in the living rooms, and bedrooms.

Kitchens and bathrooms are modern and fresh. All kitchens have a washer/dryer, a microwave, and oven.

The 3-bedroom penthouse has a dishwasher. The studios all have direct entry from the street. The larger studios are unusual as the bed is on a raised landing which makes it feel separate from the sitting area, and there is a separate kitchen.

The 2-bedroom apartments have zip-and-link beds that can be configured as one king bed, or two twin beds.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments, have two zip-and-link beds, and one single bedroom. Each flat has a DVD player, a direct-dial phone, high speed internet with free local and national calls via the internet. Each flat has a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board.

Daily cleaning, Monday through Friday, is included in the rental. Weekend house cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. A folding bed, for an additional guest, is available for £50 per week; a baby's cot (crib) is available for £25 per week. The building has a security camera and a business facility. Note that people checking in after-hours, must collect their keys at a hotel in Marlyebone because there is no one at the apartment building after 5:30pm.

Special Note: Our special promotion is available from 15th September until 31st October 2011.
